My name is
Dallas Marks, a business intelligence professional with experience primarily (but not exclusively) using SAP BusinessObjects products. I help organizations all across the United States harness the power of business intelligence. I prefer piano keyboards instead of computer keyboards when not blogging or tweeting about business intelligence.
I am a SAP Certified Application Associate for SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise and Web Intelligence. I am an accredited migration specialist and authorized trainer for Web Intelligence, Universe Design, Dashboards (formerly Xcelsius), and SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence administration. I was chairman of the Southern Ohio/Northern Kentucky BusinessObjects User Group (SONKBOUG) from 2005 through 2007 and have spoken at numerous user groups and conferences. This blog is devoted to lessons learned, tips and tricks, book reviews, and sometimes random thoughts.
If you’re an author or publisher interested in sending me a review copy of your book, email me at dallas AT dallasmarks DOT org. I am interested in writing book reviews for business intelligence and related subjects such as dashboards and analytics, data modeling, system architecture, operating systems, databases, social media, and technology’s impact on society.
If you would like to consider me for projects, training, or public speaking, I’d be honored to speak with you. Please send a message to dallas AT dallasmarks DOT org. You can learn more about my professional background from my LinkedIn profile.
